Here's the skinny: Cubase/Steinberg allow you, with a license for version (X) to download any previous versions (W, V, U, T, etc), but you must contact them for the direct download ISO. Not particularly an issue, just labeled incorrectly. This is, by default, version 9.5 (newest Cubase).
exe (iso) with a piece of paper that gives you your download access code. It, instead, is a much smaller box that does not contain any CD /DVD to install.
